you are a baby

giving light

to your mother

in those eyes

is all the brightness

of a star

near or distant

but here

in your mothers arms

the world

like her

envelops your presence

so glad to have you

in Space and Time

on the stage

carrying music

with your hands

with your voice

but mostly

with your Spirit

like those creatures

I hear calling

through the forest

Divine Graces

just like you

with tones to share

you are a Preacher

of Love and Hope

a new father

eyes are weary

but Heart on fire

with the Joy

of your new Daughter

many callings

you have been offered

but this

the dearest

birth of a Father

it is here

I find you most often

always as

a new father

on your knees

pressed that metal

to your temple

eyes are closed

offering Great Mahalos

thunder rings

your blood pours out

on the floor

your last breath

let out

shattered temple

yet all the pieces

shine and glimmer

blood like gold

floating prone

through space and time

free to serve
